Pediatric Behavioral and Mental Health

Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists at the Providence Children’s Specialty Clinic provide a variety of consultative and treatment services for preschoolers, children, and adolescents. Experience in full range of psychopathology in children and adolescents, including the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the major psychiatric conditions. Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists have experience in working with pediatric developmental disorders including Autism and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Autism Evaluation utilizes a complete psychiatric evaluation and ADOS testing, which encompasses a structured and semi-structured observational play schedule that involves social interaction between the examiner and child or adolescent.
