Scheduling & Visitor Restrictions

We will be rescheduling some patient appointments and procedures in an effort to protect our patients and staff. Conserving personal protective equipment helps us prioritize the needs of those who may require immediate care. Adjustments to scheduled procedures and appointments will be made as requested by the physician, patient or as required by official local or national public health authorities. We will contact you directly if your appointment or procedure is postponed until a later date. During this time, all The Hospitals of Providence Children's Hospital facilities will remain open to care for patients who require in-person visits and time-sensitive care. Thank you for understanding our need to take these measures for the safety of all.

Visitor Restrictions

Whether you’re expecting a baby or have a little one experiencing a stay with us, we understand the importance of having a loved ones present. Daily visitation hours are between 8:00am – 8:00pm. Additional exceptions apply to the below areas. Thank you for choosing The Hospitals of Providence.

VISITATION HOURS: 8:00am – 8:00pm
  • Two visitors per patient (non-COVID patients only)
  • Facemasks are required at all times in the facility (bandanas and masks with vents are not permitted)
VISITATION EXCEPTIONS EXIST FOR THE FOLLOWING: '
  • Laboring & Post-Partum patients
  • Patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Pediatric patients
  • Patients requiring end of life care
HORARIOS DE VISITA: 8:00am-8:00pm
  • Dos visitantes por paciente (Pacientes sin COVID solamente)
  • Es obligatorio el uso de máscaras faciales en todo momento en las instalaciones (no se permiten bandanas ni máscaras con ventilación)
EXISTEN EXCEPCIONES PARA LAS VISITAS EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
  • Pacientes en trabajo de parto y posparto
  • Pacientes de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales (UCIN)
  • Pacientes pediátricos
  • Pacientes que requieren cuidados paliativos terminales


 

An exception to any limited visitation policy at the hospital is patients with disabilities who require support from family members or staff in order for them to effectively communicate with medical personnel or otherwise receive equal access to medical treatment.
