Need more support? At Providence Children’s Hospital, you’ll find that medical social workers often play an integral role in consulting with your child’s health care team and helping develop a plan of care both during and after hospitalization. You can trust our experienced social workers to take a family-centered approach to helping your child adjust to the many demands an illness can place on him or her. Medical case management at Providence Children’s Hospital provides referrals for support services and resources like medical translators and coordinates with outside organizations, including the child welfare system.
