A Legacy of Care

It is my distinct honor to welcome you to Providence Children's Hospital.

THOPC

As the CEO of Providence Children's Hospital, I am privileged to lead a team of dedicated professionals committed to the well-being of our community's children. Every day, we are inspired by the resilience and bravery demonstrated by our young patients and their families. Their smiles and unwavering spirits serve as constant reminders of the importance of our mission.

Founded in 1996, Providence Children's Hospital has been a pioneer in pediatric healthcare in El Paso. Situated within The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus, we are proud to be part of a network renowned for its dedication to excellence and compassion.

Our commitment to innovation and growth is evident in the wide range of services we provide. In 2017, we introduced the region's first Pediatric Emergency Room, staffed by healthcare professionals specially trained to address the unique needs of pediatric patients during emergencies. Additionally, the Providence Children’s Specialty Clinic was established to offer comprehensive care tailored to the specific needs of children, including behavioral, nutritional, and rehabilitative concerns.

At Providence Children's Hospital, your child's comfort and care are our top priorities. We are steadfast in our dedication to providing the highest quality of care, ensuring that every child receives the attention and support they deserve.

Thank you for placing your trust in Providence Children's Hospital. We invite you to explore our website further to learn more about the exceptional services and resources available to you and your family.

We truly are a community built on care.

Warm Regards,

News & Announcements

There’s a New Clinic in Town

Nov 26, 2017
Beginning December 20th, 2017 – Dr. Vernon Burke and Dr. David Yates will hold Maxillofacial and Cranial Plastic Surgery clinic at our Providence Children’s Specialty Clinic.     Patients with cleft lip and palates and facial deformities need an average of 5-7 surgeries throughout their childhood, along with at times speech therapy, ear tubes and other procedures and rehabilitation.  With this service now being offered at Providence Children’s Specialty Clinic, parents and their children are able to have support and guidance through their initial visits, surgery and entire recovery.  This clinic will also allow patients who may have not had the ability to seek care or have missed follow up appointments and/or surgeries to reconnect with a surgeon.

Providence Children’s Hospital and the Providence Children’s Specialty Clinic are pleased to be able to offer these services to their patients.  This is just another addition to the continued care that patients have from birth through their adolescent years at Providence Children’s Hospital. Providence Children’s Specialty Clinic is growing to meet the needs of the community – please look out for our monthly newsletter for updates and additions to our clinics!
