Continuing Medical Education

Developed by the medical staff and administration of The Hospitals of Providence, the Continuing Medical Education program is designed to improve patient care through organized programs for physicians in El Paso and the surrounding area. Programs are available year-round for meeting medical license renewal requirements.

Our programs help healthcare providers:

The Hospitals of Providence network is accredited by the Texas Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. All CME activities are planned and implemented in accordance with the TMA Essential Areas and Their Elements to meet established criteria for education planning and quality.

Clinical Rotations

The Hospitals of Providence proudly collaborate with regional universities and colleges to provide healthcare students the opportunity to begin testing their growing knowledge in a true healthcare environment.

Participants will actively support services in a variety of departments, including but not limited to:

  • Medical records
  • Laboratory
  • Respiratory therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Radiology
